It has long been said, that virtue will lead to a happy life. But when you ask a performance orientated cyclist to define happiness, you may be unsurprised to hear that virtue is often out trumped by power, lightweight carbon bits and other such ramblings. Now do people like going fast, or just going faster than those around them? Different strokes for different folks for sure. But it all ends up with wanting more power, more watts and more watts. The key to improving is almost always discovering that it is watts that you need to target.
